HI 8043 Dissolved Oxygen Meter for Laboratories
HI 8043 is a versatile D.O. meter ideal for use in school laboratories. A common 9 Volt battery supplies the unit with up to 100 hours of continuous power, making it truly portable. There is also a low battery warning that helps eliminate the possibility of taking an erroneous reading due to low power.
The simplicity of this meter is its greatest asset. Select the O2 mode and the polarigraphic probe will supply you with accurate dissolved oxygen measurements in mg/L. Switch the dial to °C to display the temperature readings. The STB mode is particularly useful to keep the current flowing through the probe which is continuously polarized and ready for use.
HI 8043 is supplied with HI 76401 D.O. probe with 3m (10') cable, calibration screwdriver, 2 spare membranes, HI 7041S (30mL), battery and instructions.
